Site Engineering Manager
US Citizenship Required
Portsmouth, OH (DUF6) / Grade 16 $135-$203k salary Direct Hire

Under minimal supervision responsible for managing the site engineering activities to support the day-to-day operations of the DUF6 project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned: Functional:

Identifies applicable systems that will be assigned to a qualified System Engineer

Assigns systems to a System Engineer with requisite knowledge of the systemís safety design basis
and operating limits

Oversees the maintenance of training and qualifications for personnel on assigned systems

Administers and approves any modifications to the safety bases and configuration of assigned systems,
structures, and components (SSCs)

Provides oversight on the review and approval of work on assigned systems

Maintains configuration management of the design bases

Utilizes a graded approach in system and component design

Ensures continued operational readiness of assigned systems

Manages the development and implementation of design changes

Identifies and implements improvements/modifications as necessary to critical design characteristics
(CDCs) of equipment in assigned systems

Interfaces with operations management and other disciplines, site personnel, and/or external organizations
to meet project requirements

Leads system/component troubleshooting

Guides technical support to control room operations and plant operations

1. Bachelorís Degree in an engineering discipline or related science or equivalent
2. 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
3. 4+ years of nuclear experience
4. Possesses strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
seamlessly with moderate attention-to-detail
5. Administers advanced level written and verbal communication skills
6. Possesses advanced PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and
Adobe Acrobat
7. Conveys the ability to apply organizational practices, policies and procedures in performing a wide
variety of related administrative tasks
8. Maintains the judgment and discretion to properly discern and safeguard highly-sensitive information and
documents, including company-proprietary information, and classified or otherwise sensitive national security information
