Project Data Analyst

Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Data Analyst opportunity for our customer in Carlsbad, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). Per diem is available for those who qualify.

Job Duties:

Assist NWP Projects Procurement Services in data analysis, dashboard maintenance, data queries (primarily SQL) and report generation, maintenance, and development and distribution of monthly reports to management
The position will maintain a procurement dashboard, currently in development, reporting information from Peoplesoft and Cobra/P6 as well as manual injects from Projects Procurement personnel.
Generating, tracking and reporting of weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports of organizational activities will be the general overall duties.
Teleworking may be considered for half-time work if the individual has the necessary equipment and security, including cyber security, requirements to ensure safekeeping and safeguarding of NWP data, especially where external access is required.
No classified information will be handled but information is business sensitive and confidential.


Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have enhanced Microsoft Excel skills in pivot tables and queries.
Must be proficient in database queries, including experience writing SQL queries using SQL or another query or programming language such as C++.
Candidate must be a self-starter able to work on-site or remotely with efficiency and effectiveness.


Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Peoplesoft a plus but may be substituted with demonstrated work experience and history in SQL querying.
Experience in other enhanced reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI or Crystal Reports)
