Phased Array (PAUT) and time of flight diffraction (TOFD) and other UT techniciques
The ANDE Manager seeks to expand the company NDE services market foot print and revenues by researching new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and utilizing strong technological knowledge, business development comprehension, and human relation skills.
Assessment of marketing opportunities, intelligence gathering on customers and competition, generating sales leads, and formal proposal writing.
Responsible for technology development including:
o Technical justifications
o ROI processing and approval
o Equipment procurement, calibration, and maintenance
o Procedure development
o Personnel development and certification for ANDE areas in conjunction with the QA Manager
o Oversight and performance of delivered ANDE Services
Works with Operations Managers in establishing project costs for proposals, and billing rates
Responsible to coordinate the identification of ANDE bid opportunities
Conducts post award client negotiations.
Works with the Sr. VP of Quality Solutions to establish ANDE practices, strategies, and budgets.
Responsible for ANDE strategy execution and tracking.
Provides input to the Quality Solutions Strategic Plan
Works with the Technical Manager and Director to ensure future training needs to support NDE development strategies.
Direct and focuses ANDE sales.
Conducts research on industry trends, market research, and competition.
Establishes communication channels and trust relationships with ANDE clients.
Reports to senior leadership on ANDE Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and Competition.
Preferred Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in an engineering, materials, or advanced NDE technical training in multiple NDE methods is desired and typical.
Experience at different levels within a NDE service organization from project management, estimating, or technical services, to operations and department management.
Thorough knowledge of NDE technology applications in energy and manufacturing services
Thorough knowledge in NDE process development and procedure qualification.
Minimum 5 years experience in a business development or proposal management position
In depth personnel leadership and project leadership skills and experience.
Strong familiarity with commercial fundamentals, cost development, pricing and ROI analysis development.
Experience with negotiating contracts.
Experienced in interfacing with client technical leaders and management, plus customer staff in Administrative, Operations, and Project Management areas.
