Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Tool Programming Support opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site Tank Farms.
TITLE: SOFTWARE TOOL PROGRAMMING SUPPORT

Work Location/Potential Access Requirements: Work locations will include 2505 Garlick with periodic access to other Hanford facilities.
Support the software development efforts of the Software Development & Maintenance (SD&M) group in the development and maintenance of planning support software.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK SPECIFIC
The Mission Integration Analysis organization is responsible for the procurement, development and management of software applications that allows for the simulation, analysis, and communication of planning related information. This work scope includes all software development activities related to the creation of software applications.
This work supports the development of SD&M applications including creation of enterprise software applications, web applications, database management, and model implantation,. This effort shall include all phases of development work, including design, implementation, system integration, testing, and documentation. The specific user-controls shall be constructed according to specifications laid out by the SD&M development leads. Tasks include the following:
Development of utilities (software tools) for the configuration, integration and visualization of planning related work.
Support for the maintenance effort to include assistance with the implementation of feature requests and bug fixes on the development teams backlog.
Development of requirements, design, source code, unit tests, acceptance test reports, release notes and associated documentation for all changes implemented.
Two (2) years experience in software development programming.
Knowledge of the C# Software Language.
One year experience in the development of project modeling and/or scheduling software.
Experience in the following software languages
 WPF, MVC, XAML
Experience in issue track systems, specifically Atlassian Jira
Experience in requirement management systems, such as Jama software.
Experience with software versioning systems such as Subversion or Git.
Site Access and Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday. For work supporting the 222-S lab, the standard operating work week for the lab is modified slightly to a ten hour period of 6:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and approved in accordance to procedure TFC-BSM-CP_CPR-C-12.
