Reports to: Site Manager
POSITION SUMMARY

Manages and has immediate responsibility for all field accounting functions including SAP use,

payroll , timekeeping, billing , fringe benefit remittance processing , AJR , N P, and all office administration activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Interface with the Day & Zimmermann corporate accounting departments to ensure control and integrity of the field accounting and administrative processes.
Interface with client accounting departments to ensure the required deliverables are being met.
Coordinate start up of new project sites and demobilization of same when complete.
Supervises and coordinates activities of timekeepers and accounting clerks assigned to the project
Provide training and training material to employees.
Manage staff retention and motivate subordinates.
Manage the u n ion craft fringe benefit remittance process at site level
Manage open AJR issues.
Conduct all work within guidelines , policies and ethical standards established by the company. Maintain all business records and reports properly and honestly, protecting company and client assets . Evaluate subordinates based on their commitment to the Code and act as a role model.

Knowledge of general accounting functions and GAAP
Knowledge of union craft wage and benefit agreements
Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
8. SAP R/3 knowledge

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor or Associates degree in accounting preferred

Minimum 5 years experience in a related accounting assignments

Mini mum 5 years multi-staff managing experience
