Administrative Support Specialist – Patrol Training Academy (HMIS)

Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Support Specialist opportunity in Richland, WA to support Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS)’s Patrol Training Academy (PTA) in support of the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract (HMESC).

Job Scope: Administrative Support Specialist for Patrol Training Academy (PTA) Organization

Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, plus 5 years of experience in an office setting.
• Proficient in current Microsoft office programs.
• Have strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Have excellent customer service, communication and writing skills.
• ***Must be able to maintain a DOE “L” Security Clearance. Any offer of employment is contingent on the applicant passing a background investigation. As part of the investigation, Federal investigators will examine many aspects of the applicant’s past, including financial and criminal histories.

Desired Qualifications
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Pro.
• Familiarization with the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Working knowledge of Hanford Site Worker Eligibility Tool (HSWET)
• Working knowledge of the Integrated Document Management System (IDMS)

• Perform general administrative/clerical duties in support of the Patrol Training Academy (PTA).
• Act as records specialist to ensure Security Police Officer (SPO) qualifications are tracked, DOE and Company Data Calls are quickly answered, and training is successfully scheduled prior to delinquencies.
• Support managers and staff through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
• Prepare and handle Official Use Only material and time sensitive material.
• Ability to effectively communicate via telephone and email, ensuring all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
• May coordinate work assignments or tasks of assigned intern personnel.
• Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Greet visitors, answer telephone, take messages, refer callers to the designated person or provide assistance, as needed.
