System One is seeking a highly motivated IT Systems Analyst to provide information system and data management best practices across a diverse nuclear energy plant design and construction project for a long-term contract in Bellevue, WA.
Applies advanced knowledge of IT systems and best practices to create solutions for highly complex business situations.
Assumes accountability for tracking system and solution delivery schedules for IT deliverables.
Performs complex analysis across multiple business units and partners, variety of technologies and roles to ensure current and future IT needs are recognized and plans are developed for funding and delivery.
Develops and maintains all IT project management communications involving processes, services, performance, etc.
Collaborates with enterprise IT and non-IT teams on priorities, supplier and asset management needs.
Facilitates scheduled project management program check-ins with the IT leadership team.
Facilitates IT desktop support as necessary, managing escalations per project needs.
Works with technology teams and SMEs to ensure strategic plans and optimal operational performance for project resources.
Serves as lead resource for dealing with highly complex technical and/or business issues. Works with IT professionals and managers across multiple business units and partners.
Role will need to demonstrate leadership in times of change and ambiguity.
Operates under limited direction. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Strong desire for candidates with experience on large multi-year energy plant construction projects or projects with equal complexity.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and eight years of directly relevant experience.
Solid experience in requirements management, diagramming, use case development (UML).
Expertise in process design, reengineering, requirements management and documentation methodologies.
Solid understanding of IT services and delivery processes.
Has a strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the relevant business.
Proven team leadership and facilitation techniques.
Must be a self-starter.
Demonstrated creative thinking and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Visio.
Prior experience managing small to mid-sized projects.
Familiarity with project life cycles
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
Demonstrated experience with data analysis and process modeling.
Experience with enterprise requirement management, risk management, commercial project management systems/tools. Project will be leveraging Primavera P6 EPPM, IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS and Sword Operational Risk Manager GRC tools.
Experience with collaboration tools. Atlassian Confluence will be leveraged by the project team and partners.
