Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure Writer opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, New Mexico for the LANL Facility.
WFO Operations Support is seeking resumes for a full-time Procedure Writer through FY21, and into FY22 if budget allows. A Q-clearance is preferred, however, ability to obtain a Q-clearance is required. Must be able to work on-site (70%) with some teleworking.
Selected individual will be responsible for procedure preparation, maintenance and reviews. Perform all aspects of procedure writing and development and ensure all procedures comply with Conduct of Operations, Engineering and Maintenance. Review changes to procedures to ensure technical accuracy, applicability and conformity with regulatory requirements and applicable Writer's Guides. Ensure the procedures can be implemented without adversely affecting the plant, personnel or equipment safety. Provide technical leadership in the development, revision and maintenance of technical work practices, standards and procedures that support WETF (a CAT-2 Nuclear Facility). Perform editorial and technical reviews. Review and determine scope of change process packages. Evaluate the feasibility of changes and analyze documents for their applicability. Research technical manuals, vendor specifications, facility diagrams, design documents, policies and regulatory requirements to obtain additional information and ensure the safe operation of equipment, procedure flow and workability. Attend associated Pre-Job Briefings. Ability to use or learn PDMLink and perform work on the red network.
