**ONLY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THESE SPECIFIC BACKGROUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED**:

- BSEE degree with several years electrical engineering experience within a nuclear power plant and/or several years experience working directly for a utility within an operating nuclear power plant in electrical/I&C roles.
OR
- Strong nuclear project management background with extensive nuclear power plant experience involved with engineering changes & mods, or a very experienced senior level PM with many years of electrical experience who has been involved directly with substation construction.


POSITION SUMMARY:
Single point of accountability for large complex of projects and sub-projects at Nuclear Plant, which is currently developing Data Centers adjacent to the Nuclear. Work will include electrical interface modifications in the nuclear station in support of Data Center Substation Design and Construction. This role manages engineering services and/or engineering design, completion of equipment specifications and engineered procurements, and construction at the Data Centers and Nuclear Plant. The position ensures an effective project plan is in place (scope/cost/schedule), then monitors and facilitates the project team to work the plan. The position identifies and analyzes significant project risks to the plan and recommends proactive workarounds or mitigation strategies to get back on plan. Position will require travel as required to ensure project and sub-projects remain on plan. In addition, the position will be part of a broader Data Center PM Team and may from time to time support other PM’s on other sub-projects, and will coordinate and manage activities with the project architect, constructor, and MEP vendor. The work location is in Berwick, PA. However, travel to key stakeholders and partner firms will be expected periodically. This position reports to the Director of the Data Center Project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manages major development projects from initial feasibility, development, design, construction through closeout. Includes but is not limited to:

Demonstrating strong leadership skills, creates and implements highly complex project plans/control systems, including project reporting, and development of estimates / controls / forecasts costs and schedules to achieve financial and non-financial Company commitments/objectives (scope / cost / schedule), identifies and manages project risks.
Owns a project from “cradle to grave”, facilitates communications/ expectations via program kick-offs, interim program review meetings, etc. Manages/facilitates project meetings with all project team members and stakeholders.
Analyzes and facilitates optimum resolution of highly complex technical, commercial and operational issues. Convinces customers / stakeholders and other participants of optimal approach to achieve project goals.
Leads coordination with subcontractors/vendors for effective project execution. Analyzes contract requirements, develops bid specifications and packages, and evaluates bids and recommends contract award based on appropriate criteria, and develops project-specific deliverables to enable successful project implementation. Manages assigned contracts. Develops dispute resolution options and assists in contract closeout.
Travels to project locations, stakeholders, subcontractors anywhere in or outside the U.S. as often as needed, and sometimes at short notice. Schedule flexibility is required, and temporary relocations may be required, potentially up to six months.
Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout execution of projects.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in the management of technical, administrative and project activities to provide services/systems for highly complex/large integrated/multi-functional programs/projects. 5+ years of experience in managing complex nuclear plant projects or major modifications, including working knowledge of plant electrical systems, work management processes and familiarity with Nuclear Plant Operations.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to present and discuss technical information clearly to all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated effective teamwork as exhibited through Results: ability to work well with individuals on all levels of the organization to achieve project results.
Experience in using Primavera and Microsoft Project for project scheduling also.
