Plant Integration Engineer
Duration 6-12 months
Travel Expectations Remote work due to COVID no travel to GE site currently.
Role Summary / Purpose
Plant Integration needs contingent workforce support for the Natrium project with experience in the development and implementation of a requirements management program to integrate technical design and interdisciplinary interfaces, tool implementation and functionality, evaluating and supporting complex issues within design, analyses, construction and modularization.
Specific experience should be:
Knowledge of integrated design processes pertaining to requirements management (RM), requirements traceability (RMT), configuration management (CM), change control principles, standards, and best practices through the design, licensing, construction, and decommissioning life of the NPP.
Configuration Management (CM) capabilities for Collaborative Lifecycle
Management for NPP Requirements Management (RM) and change control application.
Developing RM/CM practices, procedures, and tools to facilitate coordination and
integration of RM//CM across disciplines and organizational boundaries for the HGNE UK project.
Developing requirement hierarchy strategy and structure for the implementation of RM/RMT
to capture the flow down of technical requirements from the Basis of Design (BoD), Safety Case Development, and EPC Functional Specification to the Technical Specifications and other design deliverables.
Providing strategy for prioritization of BoD scope of traceability, using graded and stepwise
approach solutions.
Leading the planning and development for the integration of the RM/CM schedule across
disciplines to ensure a coordinated work effort.

Essential Responsibilities

integration of RM//CM across disciplines and organizational boundaries for the HGNE UK project.
Develop requirement hierarchy strategy and structure for the implementation of RM/RMT

Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
At least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity

Additional Desired Characteristics
In-depth knowledge of plant safety assessment framework using approaches to design and analysis according to structured defense]in-depth principles to solve problems related to power plant complexity, over]classification, and cost.
Experience in developing plant]level architecture design approaches and plant safety case justifications.
Provide knowledge of integrated design processes pertaining to requirements management (RM), requirements traceability (RMT), configuration management (CM), change control principles, standards, and best practices through the design, licensing, construction, and decommissioning life of the Nuclear Power Plant.
Establish global Configuration Management (CM) capabilities for Collaborative Lifecycle Management for NPP Requirements Management (RM) and change control application.
