The individual is responsible for performing all aspects of scheduling. Is capable of creating and maintaining an EPC or Maintenance production schedule at any industry facility. At this level, minimal supervision is received and the individual, in turn, may provide some technical guidance to less experienced scheduling personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Estimating and Operations to develop resource loaded proposal schedules. Possibility of following through with detailed execution schedules post contract award.
Provide support and guidance for site scheduling personnel.
Develops and/or modifies project schedules and/or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
Provide assistance in analyzing, auditing and reporting on existing schedules.
Perform other project controls related duties as requested or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge/understanding of industry scheduling terminology and Proficient in Primavera P6.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
Must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to independently solve problems.
Works well under pressure and deadlines.
Ability to read and understand drawings and Requests for Proposals.
Thorough understanding of Primavera software.
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel and Adobe.
College or post-secondary education preferred or minimum of ten years related experience in a construction environment.
Ten plus years experience in related scheduling assignments.
Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.
PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certification a plus.
