Construction Project Manager for Transmission & Distribution

Key Responsibilities

Construction Project Manager
Take direction from Transmission & Distribution Project Team Lead
Receive customer projects and develop general customer requirements. This will be a checklist based process.
These may include; residential/commercial new service requests, upgrades, relocations, conversions, maintenance and streetlights.
Coordinate meetings with customers to initiate project
Develop a Service Request Document (Maximo) and route it to Planning for work plan development.
Coordinate as required between Planning, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Closeout.
Communicate between external agencies on project status. Coordinate between affected stakeholders including FCC, Landscaping, PSLD (Planning Signing Line Dispatch) and Field Supervisor.
Coordinate and attend Pre-Construction Meetings
Verify field readiness for work execution, schedule field work order to meet in-service date expectations
Keep the Customer up to date on progress, next steps and schedule adherence (positive customer experience).
Set up and schedule meter shop inspections and installations
Properly close project to ensure data integrity in the work management system (Maximo)

Strong Safety Ethic
Journeymen Lineman Experience
Strong Customer Relationship Skills
Project Leadership/Project Management
Computer Skills
MS Office
Work Management Software (Maximo Preferred)
Customer Relationship Manager (Salesforce) preferred not required
Valid Driver’s License
