Emergency Management Specialist
Education: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency management, exercise planning and conduct, or related emergency response work.
Level Specific Responsibilities: Under direct supervision:
Prepare and maintain Building/Facility Emergency Plans and emergency management procedures
Interact with a cross section of UCOR personnel/management to develop emergency plans and implementing documents required by the Emergency Management Program
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a compliant technical basis for the Emergency Management Program that includes development of hazards surveys, hazardous assessments, emergency action levels, and emergency planning zones.
Support emergency management training activities and serve as subject matter expert in assigned areas of responsibility.
Assist with conducting periodic evaluations of areas of the ETTP Emergency Management Program, as assigned, and document results
Maintain training and qualification to serve as a member of the ETTP Emergency Response Organization and participate during emergency events
