Seeking 2 Part-time, Site Stewardship Division (SSD) Consultants to provide technical and training support and research and development of strategic Hanford land management programs and initiatives, in support of the Office of the Manager (RL/ORP).
Consultants will provide a broad spectrum of support to include:
Develop and formalize internal training requirements for all levels of the Realty Specialist certifications in coordination with DOE policies and requirements.
Utilize project management skills to provide strategic solutions to ongoing and emerging third-party land management activities, including effective risk management and cost and schedule assessment.
Develop communication products used to inform and educate various internal and external audiences and stakeholders.
Coordinate activities with DOE organizations and disciplines to ensure that the program is carried out with the appropriate interfaces and coordination.
Review and update procedures and processes.
Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy – Richland, WA
Provide training through coaching and mentoring the incumbent Realty Specialist on DOE orders, policies, and internal processes.
Conducts periodic meetings to provide continuing training. Deliverables shall be accomplished in accordance with the direction provided by the SSD Director.
Develop strategic solutions, including cost and schedule assessments and communications projects to address issues as directed by the SSD Director.
Brief SSD management on status of training deliverables, technical issues, options for resolution, and facilitate decision-making.
Maintain a correspondence log to track, manage and complete SSD actions and activities.
Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
Participate in Access and Use Integrated Project Team, as required.
Working level knowledge of DOE Environmental Management and MA Programs, Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.
Working level knowledge of DOE’s program management practices, policies, and procedures.
Working knowledge of Hanford Site land management and realty instruments.
Highly experienced in real estate activities.
Broad knowledge of Hanford tribal, stakeholders, public sensitivities, and concerns.
Proven ability to interface successfully with senior level management.
Ability to work with government and contractor personnel to problem solve and formulate strategies for success.
Expert writing skills, proven experience in supporting programs and projects with analysis, tracking, monitoring, assessment, review, and coordination.
Excellent verbal and communications skills.
A knowledge of Microsoft (MS) 365 Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS and/or other MS Office tools.
