We are in need of a Nuclear Scheduler to fill an opening with a large power utility in the central Tennessee area for a 36-48 month duration.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with working knowledge of plant systems and equipment, outage/non-outage maintenance and modifications.
Job duties: Preparing and maintaining the plant master schedule for all outages and projects. Plans, schedules, and monitors schedule performance of major projects, planned and unplanned outages. Interfaces with maintenance coordinators, partners, power service shops, engineering support and subcontractors to prepare work schedules. Ensure proper work sequencing and critical path logic to ensure compliance with FPG schedule process. Develops the pre-outage plan for system schedules, and startup and shutdown sequences, major operational windows and resource assignments. Presents these plans to the implementation team and facilities the evaluation phase of outage projects.
Desired skills/qualifications: Nuclear construction experience, BWR nuclear plant experience, experience working with NRC bulleted below are some desired qualifications specific to each discipline. Mechanical ASME code experience, NSSS experience, safety analysis, fuel design, transmission planning, and switchyard design.
