Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Coordinator 2 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Per Diem for those who qualify
Location: 100% On Site at TA-55
Two (2) positions available

Job Summary:
Provides direct or indirect support to the maintenance function of a facility through the implementation and/or
administrative control of a variety of maintenance programs, policies, functions, and objectives. Verifies that maintenance
activities are performed within technical specifications, manufacturer's requirements, and/or generally accepted industry
practices.

Job Description:

Work Week Coordinator 2 (WWC 2)
The successful candidate will be expected to participate will be required to assist and help coordinate a detailed schedule development for the planning and execution of all tasks for the assigned workweek to ensure TSR compliance and maintain outage schedules; ensure activities are coordinated to minimize safety challenges and can be worked effectively and efficiently have the ability to influence, with minimal oversight, to all department planners, schedulers, work execution groups, and other support personnel for the development of effective and accurate schedules and performance of work execution. A WWC 2 will also be expected to have the ability to manage priority emergent work for their assigned workweeks and assist in long-range planning that includes major design changes and predictive and periodic maintenance activities. A WWC 2 will also coordinates outage development.

Job Requirements:

Strategic Communication:
Experience communicating moderate to complex work scheduling activities around Safety Basis Documents, Engineering practices, and Operations requirements.

Business Systems and Processes:
Moderate knowledge with facility maintenance and/or construction management including systems engineering design and maintenance, safety basis, configuration management programs, work control, facility control systems, and upgrades and renovations; working knowledge of government and industry regulations affecting nuclear facility maintenance experience in working under nuclear facility maintenance preventive maintenance policies and procedures.

Technical:
Working experience in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on problems affecting Work Control and the Work Management Center; Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics; demonstrated ability to utilize and manipulate a computerized work management system in maintaining and tracking job activities; demonstrated experience and skill in identifying problem areas, investigating alternative solutions, and determining action to be performed on problems affecting the maintenance programs; Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:
Position requires a BS/BA degree and minimum of five (5) years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
Maintenance
Nuclear experience
Scheduling/ Coordination

Desired Skills:
Ability to gain HRP Certification
Understanding of the Laboratory's maintenance and facility policies, practices, and procedures.
Prior experience in T-Week scheduling coordination
Experience in facility Operations, Engineering and/or Maintenance

Clearance
Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance, Candidates with an active DOE Q clearance preferred.
Enrollment in the Human Reliability Program (HRP) is required
Active Q Clearance preferred
