Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Programs Project Support Associate opportunity for our customer in Paducah, KY for the Paducah Deactivation and Remediation Project.

Position Title: Project Support, Associate IV

Number of Positions: 1

Project location: Work will be performed ONSITE

Hours: full-time position

Position Overview

Under direct supervision, performs Project Support job functions as assigned by management. Typical job responsibilities assist and support management in ensuring all site Project Support tasks are conducted in a manner that is safe, cost effective and fully compliant with Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, LLC Project procedures and all contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Primary Role:

Provides primary support to the Technical Programs Director
Prepares correspondence and follows process for obtaining concurrence prior to issuance of letters
Enters purchase requisitions into CostPoint, which is Procurement system for obtaining items and services
Serves as Records Custodian for Technical Programs, following and or developing the Records File Plans
Prepares records files and enters data in Gimmal, Records database
Serves as a backup for uploading files to Engineering Controlled Documents
Prepares meeting minutes as requested

Other Duties:

Prepares daily attendance
Ensures organization has necessary office supplies
Scans documents as needed
Sets up meetings as requested by Director or other group Managers within Technical Programs
Performs assigned tasks according to detailed instructions and established policies and procedures
Assigned job duties may support specific Project Support projects, processes, administrative, or related areas
May contribute to work assignments of lesser experienced team members
Provides administrative and/or functional support to the Technical Programs Managers
Perform duties general/routine to moderately complex in nature
Other job related duties as assigned
Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner
Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Associates or other degree will also be considered. Typical experience ranges from 10 - 15 years.

Experience:

High level interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of and experience in an administrative role/database entry at high proficiency
Knowledge of and experience with DOE nuclear facility is preferred
Attention to detail and a quick learner for new skills
PC skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with Excel software

Preferred skills/knowledge:

Proficient in excel (knowledgeable in other Microsoft office suite as well)
Detail oriented
Quick learner able to manage multiple assignments (prioritize and be flexible)
Database administration / data entry
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain a clearance (if requested)

Working Conditions

Professional work in an office at a normal environmental restoration atmosphere (outdated and/or abandoned facilities or industrial field environments). May also work at off-project sites representing the organization at various types of locations throughout the community for business purposes. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents or hazardous and radioactive materials if proper safety procedures are not followed.

Ability to perform sedentary to light work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usage of a two person “buddy system”), non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching.

Ability to perform primary office duties including heavy computer usage.
