12 month contract with 2 option year

Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide occupational nursing support to SRS operations.

Evaluations and treatment of on and off-the-job illness/injuries. Determine fitness for duty and return of work status of employees. Provide emergency care for employees. Perform medical testing for health surveillance exams. Assist physicians with physical exams. Document services in the Medical Information Services electronic health record. Maintain confidentiality of all medical information. Any duties as requested by the nurse manager and / or site medical director.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS Nursing Manager will determine the best schedule to accommodate the current demand of work evolutions, Shift rotations may be required. Work week excludes SRNS Holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not initially required. An uncleared badge is sufficient.

Education
Bachelors (BS) Degree in Nursing, 3-year Nursing diploma or Associate Degree in nursing.

Experience/Skills
• Audiometric and pulmonary function certification preferred.
• Minimal of 3 years’ experience, including expertise in electrocardiograms.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
