[Buyer] Procurement Specialist- multiple - SRNL

OVERVIEW
Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated Procurement Specialist Assistant to contribute to our mission supporting our work at BSRA/Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL).

LOCATION
Aiken, SC – Savannah River

Experience:
Knowledge of government regulations and familiarity with DEAR/FAR. Previous government facility experience like DOE/DOD in a procurement/buyer discipline.

Duties:
Assist procurement specialists in soliciting, negotiating, placement, administration, and closeout of purchase orders/RFPs. Attention to detail is critical as errors are difficult to detect and would normally result in major disruption or expense to correct.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Position typically requires five or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Period of Performance Schedule
9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualification Criteria
• An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. Subcontract personnel must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance. After award, the selected uncleared candidate may be required to apply for a DOE clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
