GSE Workforce Solutions, is looking for an Electrical Engineer II – Transmission/Distribution. local to Birmingham, AL, for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity starting ASAP!

Position: Electrical Engineer II – T&D
Worksite: Birmingham, AL
Hybrid: although this position will require you to go to the client's office for onboarding activities and daily work activities, this is a hybrid assignment which will allow 1-2 days of remote work.
Scheduled Contract Duration: up to 3-years
Pay: DOE

Summary of Position Duties

3-6 Years Experience in related field. Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

-Experience with Transmission Protection and Control design projects.
-Three or more years with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and CAD Overlay and experience.
-Capable of preparing single line, elementary, and wiring diagrams with little oversight.
-Work with a team and independently.
-Work remotely initially and transition to working from the Energy Center once we return to the office.
-Travel for meetings and field inspections.

Please note that driving is required with this position, so must have clean full driver's license.
