Job Summary: Roles and Responsibilities:

Our client needs a mechanical designer to provide support on 3-D CAD drawings. Candidates need to have experience with designing mechanical drawings that could include: mechanical equipment, HVAC, piping, etc. Candidates that have Solidworks or Smart Plant 3-D design software experience, with 3+ years of design experience is also plus. Will be working with other design disciplines, and must be self-motivated and willing to learn. Projects will include plant modernization, retrofits and modification work.

Position Requirements:

Solidworks or Smart Plant 3-D software experience is preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

Will be using Solidworks and Smart Plant 3-D to lay out mechanical drawings and help with backlog of drawings. Drawings are in support of plant projects ranging from modernization projects to retrofit work.

Education Requirements: Associates Degree Preferred

Experience Level: At least 3 - 10 years of experience (will accept more)
