Specialty Mechanical Designers will produce 3D equipment models and build to print fabrication packages for specialty and first of a kind equipment utilizing 3D CAD software
Preferred experience includes:
a) Experience with Pro/Engineer (CREO) CAD software;
b) Knowledgeable in respective technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of mechanical design and fabrication;
c) Demonstrated competence in applying engineering and design fundamentals to the design and fabrication of complex mechanical components, mechanisms and systems;
d) Demonstrated ability to work in a project team environment and communicate well with other disciplines, customers and stakeholders;
e) Ability to follow procedures and work within a rigorous work process;
f) Ability to perform work duties to defined project schedules;
g) Ability to effectively estimate, plan and coordinate mechanical design and drafting efforts;
h) Competence in the application of true position dimensioning;
i) Familiarity with machining and other manufacturing and inspection processes
Basic Qualifications:
2-10 years’ experience with parametric 3D CAD, with a strong preference for Creo. An associate degree in a technical field is required.
Hours will be 06:00 - 16:30, Monday through Thursday.
No travel is expected for this position.
Successful drug screening.
Must be US citizen.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
