[QA/QC Manager] Quality Assurance Manager - OR DOE Site - 7338

Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Manager opportunity for our customer in Oak Ridge, TN to support a DOE site.
General Qualifications:

Baccalaureate in engineering or related science, or equivalent experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and DOE QA orders and regulations.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in DOE nuclear quality assurance.
Supervisory experience required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
The ability to prescribe, apply, and assess compliance with applicable QA requirements.
The ability to manage the QA Audit Program and perform NQA-1 QA audits.
Strong communication, verbal, and written skills.
US citizenship required.
Job Duties:
Stops work without fear of reprisal for adverse conditions potentially affecting safety or the environment.
Participate in the hiring process that ensures positions are staffed with personnel who possess the appropriate education and experience and who can be successful in meeting training, qualification, certification requirements that ensure personnel meet the appropriate competence level for performing their duties.
Manages the activities, professional development and performance of personnel performing work within the Quality department.
Defines and interprets Quality Assurance (QA) requirements as delineated in the Company Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP).
Ensures flow down of Quality Assurance requirements to subcontractors and monitors performance of selected subcontractor QA programs.
Oversees the development, revision, and verification of the implementation of the Company PQAP.
Manages the Assessment program. Conducts and/or manages the conduct of QA audits and monitors the performance of Independent, Management, and Self-assessments. Conducts evaluation of results, tracks metrics and trends, and makes recommendations for improvement.
Manages the Corrective Action Program and verifies completion of corrective actions.
Provides quality services, to include nonconformance evaluation, receipt inspection, software quality, supplier/vendor evaluation services, lessons learned, and Suspect/Counterfeit Item.
Provides input to and verify inclusion of QA requirements into the facility design.
Assists in various aspects of QA, Performance Assurance, Nuclear Safety and Training, as requested.
Supervises the Quality Engineers and Quality Specialist.
Provides subject matter expertise to the Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) and ensures all actions are tracked to closure within Company Program to Assure Quality (IPAQ);
Supports the execution of ISMS guiding fundamentals and core functions and the Company Safety Culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
