[Construction Engineer] Sr. Construction Work Planner - TN - 7236

Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Construction Work Planner opportunity for our customer in Johnson City, TN.

Per Diem available for those who qualify.
Work location is 100% onsite in Johnson City, TN

Job Description / Duties:
Coordinates with engineering to develop work instructions.
Assists with the preparation of detailed work packages that control work activities ensuring project completion in a manner that is timely and efficient while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Coordinates with customer stakeholders to discuss and incorporate comments.
Ensures that completed work packages contain all the required forms, permits, and relevant documents needed to do work.
Coordinates walk downs of work package scope with all applicable stake holders.
Helps to coordinate the scheduling of work activities during outages and normal operations.
Assists in updating work packages (revision control) when plant systems, components, procedures or field conditions change.
Controls and maintains an active log of draft, active, and closed work packages.
Qualifications:
Minimum A.S. degree in technical field +2 years of experience, or
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Must have strong construction work planning experience.
NNSA project experience is a plus.
Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q level security clearance. Active clearance desired.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's).
Experience with technical writing.
