Our client is an A/E firm who is the Engineer of Choice for multiple commercial nuclear utilities in the U.S.  Due to unprecedented growth, they are seeking an Mechanical Engineering Supervisor with commercial nuclear plant design mod experience to add to their staff.  This is a permanent position compensation negotiable.  Work is REMOTE.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct pre-job briefs, allocate tasks to engineering staff.
-Hold weekly 1-on-1 meetings with staff to discuss projects, strategies, issues.
-Attend and provide input to weekly forecasting meetings as well as client meetings.
-Serve as point of contact for issue resolution and make project decisions.
-Spot check client deliverables.
-Conduct performance reviews.
-Provide mentoring/training on systems, procedures and client processes.

Requirements:
-8-20 years’ experience in electrical design engineering supporting commercial nuclear power plant (not maintenance).
-Experience in a supervisory/senior engineering role.
-Strong people management skills (nor project management).
-Technical expertise to review calcs, design change packages and the ability to mentor train more junior engineers.
