Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Controls Engineer (P6 Scheduler) opportunity for our customer in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
Clearance: Active DOE L or Q (or DOD Secret of Top-Secret) security clearance preferred. Uncleared candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities:
Develop and examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
Examine requests for budget revisions, recommend approval or denial and draft correspondence.
Provide technical assistance in the preparation of budgets.
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production or other operational schedules.
Display efficient knowledge of project control systems, DOE reporting requirements, schedule development, maintenance, and status.
Demonstrate the use of effective project management skills.
Deliver results/outcomes that support the task mission.
Measure/monitor the degree of customer satisfaction.
Exhibit a pursuit to partner strategically by sharing methods that could introduce innovation or bring best business practices to the delivery of services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
BA/BS Degree plus 10 to 14 years of direct experience. MA or MS with 10 to 13 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Qualifications
10 to 12 years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling and cost.
Must be US citizen.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Security:
Preference is for candidates who possess a current Active “Q” clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.
