Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer II
Job Location: Seneca, SC
Duration: 14 months
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4 days/10 hours)

Description:
•Primary engineering functions of the position include primarily mechanical design work, with occasional civil/structural support needed. The focus for this position would be helping complete small scope capital projects that would include engineering change package development, generation/revision of calculations, and development/revision of other design engineering products and design deliverables.
•Quick, practical solutions are normally sought. The ability to perform plant walkdowns and get input from site stakeholders are key aspects of the design process. Implementation may require engineering presence in the field.

Required Qualifications:

•Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 4 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer.
•The role may be filled at a level higher than Engineer II for an individual with the right skill set and with a mix of mechanical and civil engineering knowledge.
•Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program is preferred (or state registration as a professional engineer).
•A master’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited school will be considered in lieu of a B.S. in engineering.
