Primary engineering functions of the position include primarily mechanical design work, with occasional civil/structural support needed.
The focus for this position would be helping complete small-scope capital projects, including engineering change package development, generation/revision of calculations, and development/revision of other design engineering products and design deliverables.
Quick, practical solutions are typically sought. The ability to perform plant walkdowns and get input from site stakeholders are critical aspects of the design process.
Implementation may require engineering presence in the field.
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is preferred (or state registration as a professional engineer).
A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school will be considered instead of a B.S. in engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 4 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer.
The role may be filled at a level higher than Engineer II for an individual with the proper skill set and a mix of mechanical and civil engineering knowledge.
Workers at this level solve more complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with general supervision.
Workers are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence.
They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to relatively complex and varied work.

Pay: $52-$60/hr.
Per diem: $140 per 7 days
