[Project Controls] Project Controls Specialist - Sandia National Lab

Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated Project Controls Specialist to assist with management of our portfolio of projects in support of Sandia National Laboratories. Individual will support program offices in earned value management analysis, evaluating estimates-at-complete, projecting funding requirements, identifying trends, reporting status, risk mitigation and continually integrating information in support of our government customer.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Support for W80-4 Program as a project controller
Project Controller (PC) Scheduling Experience
Knowledge on developing a complex schedule and establishing a baseline
Experience building a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Experience using Steps in Primavera 6 (P6)
Experience working with stakeholders to establish activities, durations, and logic
Experience leading regular status meetings of project schedules
Experience developing graphical one-pagers for presentation to customers
Cost estimating and forecasting, and earned value management (EVM) reporting.
Candidate with an active security-clearance

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active DOE Q Clearance
Primavera P6 experience
Ability to work in a diverse work environment
Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening,
Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience on DOE sites and programs
Nuclear weapon complex experience

LOCATION
Albuquerque, New Mexico. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site up to 60% of the time.
