Salary Range $70-80/hour depending on experience.

Position Overview:

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Plant Farley. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing civil engineering projects to maintain and improve the facility's infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy sector's growth while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of engineers and professionals to develop and execute civil engineering projects.
Perform structural and seismic analysis to ensure the safety and integrity of critical infrastructure.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Conduct site assessments and evaluations to identify maintenance and improvement needs.
Provide technical support during construction and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably in a nuclear or industrial setting.
Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Our ideal candidate for the Civil Design Engineer position should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Standard Design Process Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the standard design process is required. This includes proficiency in handling design inputs, conducting design verification, and preparing calculations.

Structural Design Proficiency: Strong expertise in structural design is essential for success in this role. You should have the ability to assess support loadings, including beams, welds, and anchors.
