[Trainer] Fellow Engineer/Trainer (part-time position)

HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.

We are looking for a Fellow Engineer/Trainer with the following qualifications:

Duties:
Provide staff augmentation services in support of training for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) in the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) of assigned instructional programs in accordance with approved Training Program Descriptions and Training Plans. General responsibilities include attending training to qualify for SME/instructor status on one or more courses, reviewing and providing input for course and exam improvements, grading course exams and providing feedback for students, providing instruction for specified engineering courses to engineers to include but not limited to:
o Conduct of Operations for Engineers
o Use of Engineering Standards
o SmartPlant Foundation (SPF)/E7
o Nuclear Science & Criticality Controls
o Asset Suite
o Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow & Thermodynamics
o Process Instrumentation
o Process Controls
o Safety Basis/CHAP/Functional Classification/Emergency Management
o Mechanical Components, Drawings, & Documents

Position Qualification Requirements:

* BS Degree in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, nuclear, chemical, computer science, computer related, etc.)

Experience/Skills

* Demonstrated familiarity with engineering manuals, procedures, standards and engineering programs at SRS (preferred).
* Demonstrated experience in an area relative to course of instruction and teaching experience (preferred).
* Demonstrated fifteen (15) years of experience in an Engineering Role
* Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated skill set in use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
* Ability to develop and deliver technical classroom training.
* Ability to attend and qualify for Subject Matter Expert/Instructor Status on numerous training topics.
* Reference check to evaluate performance capability may occur.

Work Hours:
Flexible work hours, PART-TIME POSITION up to 32 hours per week or as needed.

Area Security Access:
No Security Clearance is required for this position

Estimated duration: 12 months (1600 S/T and 160 O/T per year)
