REMOTE-Architectural Engineering Designer (Long Contract with possible extension)
4-10's Monday-Friday; working from home.
(Resumes must be limited to 2 pages.)

US Federal DOE Facilities New Construction, Upgrades, Retrofits Design
• (1 Year or longer) Start Date: ~April, 2024
• An initial then an additional trip to INL (Idaho) will be required with expenses reimbursed.
• Laptop & Software Provided
(Non-Exempt – O/T =1 ½ ) 4-10’w work schedule.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Candidate(s) must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidate(s) must have the ability to work a remote 4x10 schedule and travel to INL an estimated two times.
• Candidate(s) must have 5+ years of relevant experience or an associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Candidate(s) must have a mastery level background/knowledge in architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical designer skills and techniques to facilitate the development of electrical schematics WITH A FOCUS ON PIPING DESIGNS AND INSTRUMENTATION DIAGRAMS!

Candidate(s) must also have the following abilities:
Perform as a member of an integrated engineering project team.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other drafters to complete architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings with a focus in piping and instrumentation diagrams.
Routinely works from notes, sketches or general instruction.
Demonstrates reliability, consistency and quality in drafting deliverables.
Provides field/as-built documentation support and prepares new drawings and drawing changes consistent with company and nationally recognized procedures and standards.
Drafting work will be completed using AutoCAD and Revit computer aided drafting and design software.
Performs work within the established company procedures.
Understand company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency and identify conditions which may impede implementation of these standards, and initiating actions to correct these conditions, including stopping the work if necessary.
Performs routine tasks independently and receives training to expand knowledge of specialized areas of expertise of assigned tasks.
Knowledge of and experience in the use of nationally recognized standards (e.g. ANSI, ASME, MIL-STD, IEEE, etc.)

Candidate(s) must have working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD graphics software.
Autodesk Revit experience a plus!
