Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and facilitating the execution of capital projects, with a primary focus on major power plants and associated equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing various project phases, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards, and achieving project goals within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities:

Champion safety and environmental compliance as the foremost priority in all project activities.
Lead or support specific phases of major projects, from initial development to operational transition, including permitting, scope development, contract negotiations, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Oversee all aspects of smaller improvement projects, from planning to execution and commissioning.
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, making informed decisions to optimize financial outcomes.
Actively manage contracts and commercial aspects of projects with suppliers and contractors.
Utilize the PM Tollgate process to effectively manage project stages and ensure project milestones are met.
Fulfill all project-related administrative requirements according to established PM processes.
Qualifications/Experience:

Demonstrated expertise in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership within the construction industry.
Comprehensive understanding of power generation and pollution control equipment, coupled with familiarity with industry safety practices and regulations.
Proven track record of successfully leading project teams to achieve goals and milestones.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in problem-solving and attention to detail, with the capacity to resolve technical issues and implement necessary changes.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of industry experience in construction, with at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in steam generation replacement projects.
