HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.
We are seeking qualified candidates to perform the following:

Argonne National Lab is seeking a Lead Assessors at level Engineer 4 or Engineer 3 to lead assessments scheduled in the future, from June 3, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with experience in independent assessments, and technical expertise in various project support disciplines, such as:
 Electrical Safety
 Nuclear Safety
 Fire Protection
 Quality Assurance / ISO 9001
 Industrial Safety
 Waste Management
 Environmental Management/ ISO 14001
 Business Processes & Systems
Typical support from a Lead Assessor may include:
• Coordinate the development of an assessment plan, which details the purpose, scope, approach and timing of the planned assessment.
• Coordinate the development of checklists / CRADs and establish assessment logistics.
• Coordinate the formal notification of the assessed organization(s) at least two weeks prior to commencement of field activities.
• Chair the entrance briefing to introduce the team, discuss the assessment scope and schedule, and answer any assessment-related questions.
• Provide in-process results (i.e., discussion of identified issues or improvement opportunities) to the assessed organization(s) on an as-needed basis.
• Develop a draft report with all identified strengths, issues and improvement opportunities, and provide to the assessed organization(s) for factual accuracy review and comment.
• Resolve all factual accuracy review comments and finalize the assessment report.
• Participate in the formal exit briefing with senior Laboratory management, presenting the results of the assessment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Requires a BS degree in engineering, physical sciences, mathematics or quality assurance and 10 or more years of relevant experience or a master’s degree in one of those disciplines and 7 or more years relevant experience. Seven or more years experience leading assessments. Relies on moderate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Must possess the NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification when leading an assessment which involves nuclear facilities and/or operations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Place of Performance:
Argonne National Laboratory. A hybrid work environment may be feasible. On site for assessment work observations and telecommuting for assessment planning, assessment interviews and meetings, and report writing.
