Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Process Engineer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Work Location: Houston, TX
Process Engineer-
Responsibilities:
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Plan, organize, and coordinate process engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to, mechanical systems and equipment design.
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.
Basic Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Focused primarily on relief device calculations.
Must have good client and communication skills to work across various project entities to ensure that all relief device calculations developed for the entire project are aligned with client requirements.
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
