Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a GIS Technician to fill a 30-month contract assignment in Atlanta. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in the office and 1 remote day. The anticipated start date is May 2025.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 Years Experience in a related field.
Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum.

Rates: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Manage routine GIS tasks, including data management and map creation ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools. Ensure timely updates to GIS databases.
Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies.
Provide input on GIS tool enhancements.
SKILL SETS & EXPERTISE:
2-4 Years working with GIS software, tools and databases

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
