Nuclear Electrical Planner � Contract Opportunity

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role at the Columbia Generating Station? We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Electrical Planner with expertise in planning electrical work packages for large- and small-scale nuclear projects. This is your chance to make an impact while working onsite full-time at one of the most critical facilities within the nuclear infrastructure sector.

What this role offers:

Location: Richland, Washington
Full-Time, Onsite, 12-Month Contract, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 Days x 10 Hours, Monday-Thursday
Salary Range: $75-80/hour depending on experience + Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive electrical work instructions ensuring compliance with safety standards (e.g., NEC codes) and company procedures.
Conduct field walkdowns to refine maintenance plans, modifications, or surveillance activities.
Collaborate across departments-Work Management, Operations, Engineering-to resolve package issues efficiently.
Provide procurement recommendations for materials essential for project execution.
Ensure regulatory documentation such as ALARA task outputs or fire impairments meet applicable requirements.
Qualifications:

Candidates must have relevant technical experience based on educational credentials:
Bachelor�s degree + 6 years� experience OR
Associate�s degree + 8 years� experience OR equivalent professional background including apprenticeship programs up to ten+ years.
Commercial Nuclear Experience Required
Essential Skills Include:

Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
Proven ability with troubleshooting complex systems under tight deadlines effectively using computer tools/software solutions like scheduling platforms etc..
Knowledgeable about key processes unique towards improving equipment reliability
