Batch Plant Supervisor
The Batch Plant (BP) Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the BP.
Operates the BP with Jonel Archer Ready Mix Batching Controls
Qualified applicant must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Proficient with a computer and all required software programs
Properly weigh materials for mix, operate mixer and deliver mix in a timely manner in compliance with the NRMCA Certification Standards, (preventive maintenance and repair of batch plants with company mechanics assistance, in compliance with the NRMCA Certification Standards)
Communicate production issues with other employees, supervisors and Quality Control Dept.
Perform routine maintenance on BP and possess above average mechanical skills
Maintain housekeeping and quality standards
Assist Quality Control personnel with production data monitoring
Maintain to NRMCA Standards all mixer trucks and all resources supporting the operation of the BP
Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
All responsibilities are to be preformed to NRMCA Certification Standards.
Knowledge of concrete fundamentals
Concrete finishing experience, a separate ACI certification is desired but not mandatory
ACI Field Testing Certified preferred, or ability or obtain certification within 6 months
At least 5 years experience running a batch plant preferred
Managing a BP in a remote venue is a plus
Experience operating Jonel Archer batching system a must.
Current NRMCA Certification and a complete understanding of the same is required
Experience with working on Us Army Corps of Engineers experience would be a plus
Experience with Airfield PCC Pavement Concrete mix designs and production
Experience with Marine mix designs and production
Thorough understanding of the NRMCA Plant Manager Certification requirements
