The Project Manager is responsible for development and coordination of projects at Client. The PM is responsible for implementation of management directives and goals including engineering, process control management, construction management projects including onsite assistance to the Refineries during unplanned outages. Responsible for development of staffing plans, AFE generation, scope of work, detailed estimates, and other duties as may be required to support refinery projects. Supervise a varying staff of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Designers, Construction Supervisors & Coordinators, and external consultants as required from time to time. Oversee the project execution plans of small and mid-size projects at times working with outside EPC firms. Provide guidance and leadership using client project
management practices.


Engineering Degree in BSME, Civil or BSChE, or similar Engineering degree with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in project engineering or management
Minimum six (6) years’ experience in project engineering or management, inside a plant
Working knowledge of skilled trades and familiarity with processing units
Experience in laying out projects for construction and operation.
Excellent reasoning and problem solving, and strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of stage gated project management
Extensive knowledge of general engineering standards and procedures
Demonstrated Ability to Analyze problems and prioritize task
Ability to accept change and quickly align resources to affect outcome
Proficient with Microsoft office suite
Familiarity with P6 and project estimating tools
