General knowledge of software systems such as Maximo, CAD, and Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Word)
General knowledge of codes, relevant standards, and materials/metallurgy related to industrial equipment
Monitoring of project deliverables including budget and quality
Ability to work with and coordinate efforts of EPC and EPCM on site
Responsible for permits, safety guidelines, Hazop, GMP, and TPS policy
Candidate should have experience managing capital projects over $1 MM in the agricultural, industrial, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, renewable fuels or petrochemical sectors
Costing out projects
Monthly project reporting to stakeholders and owner
Working with contractors generating project estimates
Occasional work with drafters and process engineers during commissioning and start up
Chemical or Mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Ensure stewardship of viable capital projects from inception to commission.
This involves effective management of personnel and resources to balance schedules, budgets, and scope/quality of a project.
This position will work closely with project engineers, site project coordinators, contractors, process engineers, and operations personnel.
They will provide oversight of construction personnel during the project by working in the field daily.
Manage project budgets and resources.
PMP certification required
Bachelor or Masterís degree preferred. Project Management, Construction Management, or Mechanical Engineering desired
