Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform QA/QC on all the project documents using defined procedure and checklist.
Process one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
Identify and tag correct metadata for project documents produced during the life cycle of the project.
Ensure that pre-established document control requirements are satisfactorily met
Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required
Manage data and produce reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications
Collaborate with other staff members as needed to develop and improve services
Respond to changing technology environment and participate in decision-making activities relating to document usersí needs
Provide assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic Information
Revise system or schedule as required to ensure timely approvals and distribution
Verify retention requirements, arrange document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of appropriate documents at time of closeout
NUMBER OF OPENINGS 1
Bachelorís degree preferred, two-year technical degree
1-5 Years of relevant experience with document processing and data management
Authorized to work in U.S.
Experience with Gas and Electric Utility projects preferred
Required Abilities and Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Experience with OpenText, Procore, SharePoint and or any other document controls software is a plus.
Good understanding of various project documents developed through life cycle of a project in Utility industry.
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be flexible and willing to assist as needed
Excellent organizational skills combined with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to function effectively both as a member of a team and as an individual contributor
Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted with minimal supervision
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
