The digital learning team is looking for an instructional designer. The successful individual in this role should be onsite and have great follow -through. Should be detail-oriented, energetic, and flexible, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
Develop training content in a fast-paced environment using Articulate, iSpring, G-Suite, PowerPoint and Camtasia.
Develop interactive and animated learning using graphic visuals and create simulations and demo as needed to engage the audience
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of instructional methodologies, and industry design standards to design and develop interactive learning for a variety of delivery methods.
State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
Assess, design, and develop learning solutions that assist business leaders in meeting functional and organizational business objectives.
Apply learning design knowledge to produce solutions using insight from the Training Team, Project Managers, subject-matter-experts, and management.
Develop knowledge and skill assessments, reinforcing learning concepts, through audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.
Review and test new and revised curriculum offerings from other team members, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement; contributes to new curriculum or program ideas.
Create course content that engages the audience, increases retention, transfers skill/knowledge, and drives sustained behavior change.
5+ years of instructional design experience and excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
Ability to demonstrate lesson and curriculum planning skills.
Must possess a combination of expertise in Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe CS, iSpring and PowerPoint skills, with demonstrated work samples showing complex eLearning course development.
Experience creating and managing the production workflow of interactive eLearning and video modules with at least one Learning Management System.
Excellent interview skills while working with SMEs, with an ability to cut through the fog to identify the requester's needs and address them.
Knowledge of learning format options and tradeoffs.
Strong organization skills. Network security project background a big plus.
Ability to work onsite, interacting with SMEs, Content Developers, Instructors and Instructional Designers
BA/BS/ MA/MS degree in Learning Design, Education or other related field, or equivalent practical experience
