Position Title:    CRO

Facility:  Simple Cycle, PW Twin Pack FT4C

Location: Oakland, CA

Start Date: ASAP

Client requirements:

Work independently with little oversight in addition to working well with others

Familiarity with gas turbines and their auxiliary equipment (Pratt & Whitney FT4C-3F)

Experience in power production, refinery, manufacturing

Electrically and mechanically inclined

Ability to read and interpret prints

Experience overseeing contractors

Understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Able to lift 50 lbs.

Simple Cycle, PW Twin Pack FT4C

Job Description:             

CRO for Simple Cycle, PW Twin Pack FT4C. Plant has twin pack PW units, no boiler. Would be helpful if this person had electrical background, needs to be able to operate units with maybe one month training. Waiting for more detailed Job Description from the customer.

Responsible for completing the daily tasks required to operate and maintain facility equipment and systems, as well as outage related maintenance and to maintain efficient and cost effective facility operations with compliance to all safety and environment regulations.


Shift operations including plant startup, shutdown, and monitoring.

Follow operational directions as given by the Lead or Control Room Operator.

Follow plant directives given by the Production Manager.

Operate and maintain plant equipment in compliance with established safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Operate and maintain plant equipment within specified operational temperature, pressure, and rate of change parameters.

Maintain logs and records of operational milestones.

Ensure compliance activities are being met in a timely and accurate manner.

Understand and follow all Client procedures.

Perform electrical switching orders.

Work with others in preparing and implementing equipment LO/TO orders for maintenance work.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions.

Other operations and maintenance duties as directed.

High School diploma, trade school, military service or technical school training

Proven mechanical and trouble shooting skills

Ability to work constructively under minimum supervision

Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, be on call and accept call-outs and over time work

Basic user PC skills for information processing and management

General knowledge of safety and environmental regulation

Ability to operate a fork lift and man-lifts as needed
