[Sales Manager] Technical Sales Manager Technology and Supply Chain

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. (E2) is a professional services firm established in 1988 specializing in a full spectrum of engineering services including, project engineering and design, federal base operations and infrastructure support services, gas pipeline construction and inspection services, environmental consulting and remediation, and information technology services. We are seeking a highly skilled sales professional capable of building business relationships and promoting E2s technology products, services and solution large industrial vertical markets, including utilities, oil and gas, construction, transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications, green energy, and others.

Specific product lines include:

E2 M2M and E2E Digital Project Rider and Project Management Tool
Aaleka - Procurement, Supply Chain and eCommerce solution
io Data Management and Analytics
Technology, Supply Chain and Logistics Services
Other solutions as needed by the customers

Build and maintain compelling sales pitch and product demonstration content that is aligned with product marketing materials. Use technical and architectural skills to speak in the client's language for relating product requirements to business needs. Reduce the evaluation phase of the sales cycle, increase conversion rate, and speed up time to value for our clients

This role will focus on key accounts and new prospects and leads in the United States. The ideal candidate will work from home near a large airport in the central US.

Make recommendations to large industrial customers on suitable technology products and services
Work with management to develop, validate, and track opportunities and leads through sales cycle
Coordinate promotion efforts with internal colleagues, stakeholders, and groups to optimize win-win results
Negotiate and close sales terms on multi-year contracts with large procurement organizations
Work closely together with E2 technology and business partners to identify optimized system solutions and reduce time-to-revenue
Report feedback on market trends, issues, and opportunities to local management
Arrange and host field visits all over United States
Follow-up on leads from tradeshows, partners etc.
Drive new business to exceed quarterly and annual KPIs and sales quotas
Lead/Participate in discovery sessions with clients to understand/identify pain points as a basis to build an innovative solution based on existing and new products portfolio
Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of E2s products and services offering to stakeholders at all levels. (i.e., Lead Client Service Partners, Market Offering Leaders, Client IT Staff, lines of business leaders and "C" level executives)
Create memorable positive experiences for our clients, using empathy, storytelling, and immersive demo techniques
Leverage your technical skills to build innovative art of the possible demos and establish a trusted relationship to the technical stakeholders on customer side.
Use your business knowledge and industry experience to identify challenges and trends and propose new innovative solutions
Represent E2s product and services during marketing and/ or partner Events (e.g.: Industry demos, industry specific discussions/use cases)
Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations for both internal and external customers

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent field. MBA a plus.
Must have Utility, Construction or Oil and Gas technical sales experience
Experience selling technical products and an ability to discuss technical details related to them
Ability to work with complex business requirements and translating them into the design of solutions, including multi product demos, user story creation, business rules, etc.
5+ years of demonstrated success in fast-paced sales roles for SaaS-based products
Understanding and balancing the differences between product selling, solution selling, and professional services to ensure the needs of larger clients are being met
Technical knowledge on major Cloud Service Providers a plus
Experience working remotely and collaborating with remote teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly collaborative and with the ability to lead by influence
Highly self-motivated, passionate team-oriented individual
A minimum of five years successful field sales experience with proven track record
