Electrical Engineer

System One is seeking an Electrical Engineer with fossil power plant design experience to join Electrical Department for a engineering firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who is interested in power systems engineering and will be challenging and interesting design projects within the Power industry.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, specify and recommend electrical systems for power plants and industrial facilities.
Develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Design LV power distribution systems.
Develop electrical construction specifications.
Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Review of equipment submittals.
Coordination with design / drafting and other crafts to assure a complete, coordinated design.
Solving diverse and open-ended design problems facing industrial facilities.
Field work to verify existing conditions and to support construction.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineer with ABET accreditation college or university.
Passed Fundamentals of Engineer (FE)Exam with EIT
Minimum of 2-4 years Electrical Engineering related experience in the Power and Industrial Industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar programs.
Complex Problem Solving (STEM).
