Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated On-Stream Leak Repair Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of various industrial systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing, and industrial equipment, along with the ability to diagnose and rectify leaks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in industrial maintenance, pipefitting, or a related field is preferred.
2.Proven experience as an On-Stream Leak Repair Technician or in a similar role, with expertise in conducting on-the-fly leak repairs.
3.Proficiency in using specialized tools and techniques for leak detection and repair, including clamps, wraps, and sealants.
4.Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to service client locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•Travel to client sites on short notice to perform on-stream leak repairs in a variety of industrial environments.
•Collaborate with clients, engineers, and maintenance teams to assess leak situations, devise effective repair strategies, and execute repairs promptly.
•Utilize specialized tools and techniques to accurately detect and diagnose leaks while systems remain in operation.
•Safely manage and control the release of fluids during leak repair procedures to maintain system integrity.
•Apply a range of repair methods, including clamps, plugs, wraps, and sealants, to seal leaks quickly and effectively.
•Monitor repaired systems post-repair to ensure leak integrity and long-term stability.
•Prepare work areas, ensuring proper rigging, isolation, and safety measures are in place before conducting repairs.
•Document repair activities thoroughly, recording observations, materials used, techniques applied, and any follow-up recommendations.
•Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself and those around you.
•Troubleshoot unexpected challenges that may arise during repair operations and adapt strategies accordingly.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, engineers, and project managers, to achieve seamless repair outcomes.
•Stay updated on emerging leak detection and repair technologies, incorporating best practices into your work.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
•Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear updates on repair progress and addressing any concerns.

1.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 pounds or more as necessary with the correct support.
2.Travel requirements 50-75% including overnight travel outside of the region may be required.

Working Environment
Jobsite and shop work conditions include, but are not limited to:
•Position is based out of a branch or site location with job site visits required.
•Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
•Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
•Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
•Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as required by the safety director for personal protection.
