E2 is seeking a Change Order Management Lead to join our Utility team. The successful candidates will have capital cost controls, change management, contracts administration and estimating expertise in the construction arena, with a strong focus on Gas Utilities. The successful candidate must be technical, organized with strong communication skills and have a proven track record. A work history that represents increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis is important.
Develop Change Order Management processes by working with the key stakeholders.
Develop workflows and detailed writeup of the process.
Provide training to the project management team.
Review change orders from general contractors, vendors ,A/E and sub-contractors for scope, cost and schedule accuracy.
Must understand construction means and methods and construction/engineering contracts.
Estimate and negotiate potential change orders.
Cost validation on an as needed basis.
Monitoring and audit compliance.
Analyze projects to ensure that project funding is adequate by performing estimates, cost forecasts, cost trends, and accrual of actual costs.
Reconcile program and project controls data with the client’s fiscal and financial controls systems.
Change management and control, budget management and documentation, fiscal and cost reports, charts, graphics, trend analyses, and document control.
Should be able to effectively use a management reporting data warehouse to perform these tasks.
Develop a database of changes, lessons learned and must be able to apply process improvements.
5-10 years of project controls experience related to change order management, cost estimating, change management, cost and schedule analysis of construction projects.
BS/BA Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another construction related subject.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Oracle Unifier, SharePoint is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Wage Data Per State Requirements
Salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
