HKA Construction Services is now hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a shipyard located in Newport News, VA. All applicants must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience. Trade School graduate preferred, but previous on-the-job training will be considered.

Wages:
$27.31/Hr. & $120.00 Per Diem per day.

Experience & Requirements:
• Must be trained in operating excavating equipment (i.e.: backhoe, excavator), experience driving and operating a dump truck.
• Must have a good driving record and be willing to become a qualified equipment operator (JLG, forklift, scissor lift, backhoe, dump truck, etc.)
• Must place high priorities on safety and quality-workmanship and be willing to obtain a thorough knowledge and understanding of excavating in areas with multiple underground utilities.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must successfully pass a background check & Hair follicle drug test.
