This is a long term, 12 month “contract assignment” anticipated to last through the middle of February, 2019. Full-time permanent opportunities are a real possibility for a top performer! In the role of a Senior Cost Analyst you will be responsible for cost and budget management on a complex capital delivery portfolio worth $1.2 Billion! You will undertake monthly analysis of projects in terms of cost variance and trending, in order to pin point projects that need further management intervention or support. You will provide earned value analysis and assist the Project Manager with the preparation of changes. You will also coordinate the implementation of applied changes into Primavera (P6).
The qualified candidate for the Senior Cost Analyst MUST HAVE:
* Five (5) plus years of Electric Utility experience related to forecasting cost and schedules for capital projects.
* Proficient knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera) preferred.
* Strong understanding of earned value management principles and base-lining.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
* Excellent professional references.
