TRANSMISSION AND SUBSTATION BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/ACCOUNT MANAGER

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Develop new client relationships and win work with electric utilities and renewable clients.
- Service existing utility and renewable clients.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships with targeted electric utilities and renewable clients
- Keep regular contact with clients and potential clients
- Know when clients will be issuing requests for proposals for upcoming projects
- Follow up with clients on the competitiveness of our bids
- Work with Transmission and Substation divisions to make sure potential projects fit overall work schedules.
- Track requests for proposals from receipt through bidding to delivery and award.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ten to Fifteen years’ experience in Transmission and Substation Business Development
- Existing utility and renewable owner client relationships
- Detailed knowledge and experience with Transmission, Substation and renewable electric Construction
- A minimum of a four-year construction management, engineering, or other pertinent degree is preferred.
- Working knowledge of CRM software.
- Functional in all Microsoft products.
